Ok, you have generated the perfect file for the positive you need to produce. But then how do you produce it?
The easiest answer is “with a CNC machine”, and it is undoubtedly correct.
But be careful, even in this processing phase there are many choices.
Are you sure the machine you are considering is the correct one?
Aren’t you perhaps being persuaded by those who know little or nothing about orthotics products to make an oversized purchase?
Maybe they just want to make you spend as much as possible or, on the contrary, it is not clear how far you want to go in the next few years and you are about to buy the wrong machinery, because maybe in 2 years it will not allow you to produce what you will have need.
So what? How to do?

We have been milling since 2004 with the SAME milling machines that we offer to orthotic companies that want to produce, and they are all still working in our milling central fabrication.
Here are the orthopedic milling machines you can choose from:

1- ULTRACOMPACT 3-AXIS “BUST-MACHINE”

It is simply “the smallest orthotic milling machine in the world”. Thanks to the Bust-Machine you will be completely autonomous in the production cycle, reducing overall dimensions to a minimum. In just 100×80 cm you will be able to obtain the positives of busts, prostheses etc… or in any case of all those processes that require rotary processing in a time that can vary from approximately 15 to 45 minutes. It is the simplest solution in the world, furthermore, thanks to the new combined CAM software KiwiCAM you will also be able to manage “Matryoshka” machining, therefore milling the new files inside the previously milled positives.

2- ULTRACOMPACT 3-AXIS “BUST-MACHINE XL”

It is the “big sister” of the Bust-Machine. Thanks to “the second smallest orthotic milling machine in the world” you will be completely autonomous in the production cycle and in just 140×100 cm you will be able to obtain the positives of busts, prostheses etc. in a time that can vary from approximately 15 to 45 minutes of all those processes that require rotary processing. Slightly less compact than the Bust-Machine, its horizontal alignment allows for a few more cm of height to be able to manage and above all optimized dust collection management. This too represents the simplest solution in the world and also thanks to the new combined CAM software KiwiCAM you will also be able to manage the “matryoshka” machining processes and therefore mill the new files inside the previously milled positives.

3- 4-AXIS CUBE-MACHINE

It is the most complete CNC machine, thanks to the fourth axis and its increased strokes this machine knows no limits. In the Cube-Machine the orthopedic technician can mill any type of product with great speed, including those to be made with linear axes such as cushions, backrests or complete postural systems. The larger tool allows even very deep penetrations into the polyurethane; Even on the Cube-Machine, thanks to the new CAM combined software KiwiCAM, you will be able to manage the “Matryoshka” machining with great simplicity and then mill the new files inside the previously milled positives.
